750 g & 192 crisp white pp with numerous bw illus throughout, sections on the history of fencing from its origins in the 16th century Italian & Spanish schools, and including accounts of duels & swashbucklers of fact & fiction. Lots of interesting facts about the sport of fencing, although the book's focus is dominated by a British and European bias to the exclusion of much of the rest of the planet (to be expected, perhaps, since the author, E. D. Morton, is British). Still, there is much to learn from MARTINI A-Z OF FENCING. As a writer and fencing master, I recommend it .
